OpenSolaris User Group

I’ll be at the OpenSolaris User Group tomorrow, May 31st, at 7:30 p.m. in Santa Clara. Check’s Alan’s link for a map. I’ll have some books to give away — 20 copies of O’Reilly’s Open Sources and 10 copies of Rich Teer’s Solaris Systems Programming. Hope to see you there.

  1. Jim,
I hope last evenings OSUG was a rounding success!
One would hope ‘OpenSolaris’ will receive some of the monies allocated for SUN ‘polishing’.
That ‘s’ on the front of my new shirt doesn’t denote ‘superman’?
TRANSMETA’s announcement sells CHINA ‘novel’ computing technology that their grammer school children employ daily.
This product is no ‘NIAGRA” but will give that nation an important technology to develop further, expect CHINA created CPU ware within two (2) years.
In the near future, ASIA will likely use locally created computing product.
