It’s funny watching those who argued so passionately against government violations of civil liberties four years ago now so thoroughly embracing far worse. Privacy. How quaint. Most of those old pro-privacy people back then who now support assassination are simply silent these days. But others are more vocal and they’re providing some really excellent entertainment with their intellectual gymnastics. They don’t seem to realize they’re using the exact same arguments their detractors used. They’ll change their tune — again — when their guy loses. But it won’t matter. It’s too late.
